Meet our managers
Lance, Jami, and Brandon
Lance, Jami, and Brandon are the three managers who help keep our facility running smoothly. They’ve grown up at BRF and truly value the “family” atmosphere that makes our club so special. You’ll often find them participating in The Gauntlet and Kellie’s Power Hour—two of their favorite classes.
Their passion for fitness and commitment to our community show in everything they do. They deeply appreciate all the members who treat the club like their own home and help uphold the standards we all care about. Since it’s impossible to be everywhere at once, your help in reinforcing the rules does not go unnoticed, and it means a lot.
Thank you for being part of the BRF family!
Meet the Team
The People Who Make It All Happen
Kellie Kallas
Kellie Kallas is our Director of Group Fitness and has been a proud part of the BRF team since 2007! Along with teaching group fitness, she’s also a personal trainer and one of the many reasons BRF feels more like family than just a gym. Kellie is passionate about helping others live healthier lives. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, Pilates, and spending time with her friends, family, and beloved pets!
Michael Neverman
Michael Neverman is our Tennis Director & Interclub Coordinator, and he’s been part of BRF since he was just 10 years old! A lifelong tennis enthusiast, he’s dedicated to helping players grow and enjoy the game, no matter how long they’ve been playing. In his rare free time, Michael enjoys Gauntlet classes, walking his dog, and spending time with family.
Tammy Rocky
Tammy Rocky is our Personal Training Manager and is passionate about helping members transform their lives and become the healthiest version of themselves. In her free time, she loves strength training, spending time with family, and riding motorcycles with her fiancé, Jeff!
Nick Mendoza
Nick Mendoza is our Certified Pickleball Professional who’s been a BRF member since 2010 and joined the staff in 2022. He loves making clients smile and being part of a team that truly cares for one another. Nick’s favorite way to work out is by playing and teaching pickleball, along with functional workouts using ropes, machines, and the sled. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, golfing, sand volleyball, playing piano, tackling house projects, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Melissa Roberts
Melissa Roberts is our Director of Member Experience and Marketing, and she first joined BRF as a bike instructor in 2016. She loves being part of the BRF team and community, and finds joy in watching members gain confidence and strength—both mentally and physically—through fitness. Outside of BRF, Melissa enjoys working out and spending time with her family, who all live in the Anderson area.
Bob Mosbacker
Bob is our Director of Facilities and has been a staple at Beechmont Racquet and Fitness for 29 years! He helps make sure the building and equipment are maintained and in tip-top shape. He loves coming to work every day because the people are so friendly. When Bob is not at work, he likes to “do stuff,” stay busy, and be outside with his wife and family!
Angie Volk – Celebrating 20 years of joy in the Kids’ Center
Angie’s been lighting up Beechmont Racquet and Fitness for an incredible 20 years—yep, two whole decades of love, laughter, and dedication! As the Director of the Kids Center, she’s a superhero to the little ones (and honestly, to all of us).
She’s watched kids grow up, hired some of them back as staff, and created lifelong friendships with parents who’ve become like family. The best part? Those priceless hugs when the kids run to greet her!
Angie’s team spirit is unmatched—whether it’s rallying at work or hanging out for food and fun outside the office, she’s the heart of the crew.
Fitness-wise, Angie loves working out with a trainer who pushes her to keep going (we see you, Angie, powering through!). When she’s not busy being a superstar at BRF, she’s taxiing her 13-year-old baseball champ to practice, piano, and all kinds of activities — then kicking back poolside to soak up some well-earned chill time.
Here’s to Angie—20 years of making BRF feel like home!
