We are firm believers in using the methodology and utilizing High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) because of the positive effects it has on our bodies. HIIT is an fun and efficient workout that many are turning to while being quarantined.

Earlier this year, a study was published in the Journal of Sports Sciences that analyzed many aspects of HIIT including safety and efficiency across many different people, including some with health conditions. The conclusions about HIIT are astounding:

Compared to people who were inactive, HIIT improved aerobic fitness, body composition, blood glucose, vascular and cardiovascular function, certain inflammatory markers, exercise capacity, and muscle mass. It also improved aerobic fitness, certain inflammatory markers, muscle structure, and people showed significant improvements in anxiety and depression. And to make it even that much better, the groups who participated in HIIT reported no acute injuries!
