BRF Connect Event
BRF Connect is where new and existing members can come and learn from one of our experienced speakers, then stick around to learn more about their BRF membership and ask any questions they may have.
For March, our trainer, Kim Boardman, will discuss recovery strategies and techniques that will enable you to feel better after your workouts and get better results. She will empower you to understand what is happening in your body post-workout and give you information about how to support your body using multiple strategies. These will include active recovery, how to open up tight fascia and muscles using foam rolling and active release, and advanced stretching techniques. She will also share information about how nutrition, rest, hydration, and sleep can influence the body’s ability to repair and recover. Towards the end, you will have a chance to practice some of the techniques and ask any questions. We will have some equipment for you to use, but bring your foam roller if you have one.
Following Kiim, Melissa will be available to give you an overview of your membership, answer any general questions, and show you around the club.
