Tennis roots run deep at Beechmont Racquet & Fitness. Since our founding more than 40 years ago, our club has played a leading role in the Cincinnati tennis community. We have great opportunities for all players of any skill set—beginners, juniors and advanced. The quality, diversity, and affordability of our programs set the standard by which other clubs are measured. We offer a wide variety of competitive, recreational and instructional opportunities and have eight of the best tennis courts in the area. Check out the benefits each Beechmont Racquet & Fitness tennis program offers.
Junior Tennis Programs
Our junior tennis program offers instructional tennis for ages four and up. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels are available. Four of our courts are painted with the USTA’s QuickStart lines as well. Our professional staff includes current and former high school and college team tennis coaches who have experience working with beginners, to nationally ranked players and every level in between.
Adult Programs
Adult tennis programs allow adults of all skill levels to compete and play in a vibrant setting. This program welcomes beginners, casual players, and those looking for active competition. Private and semi-private adult lessons are available to those looking to learn the game or sharpen skills. Beginner clinics are also available so novice players may have the opportunity to practice skills on the court. Instructional Round Robins provide the opportunity for all levels to learn and practice with a little bit of competition. For those seeking competition, we offer in-house leagues for both men and women.
Staff
At Beechmont Racquet and Fitness, we are firm believers that the success of our tennis program rests largely on the experience, professionalism and enthusiasm of our Tennis Department staff. Head-Pro Geoff Crawford leads the Tennis Department, and is backed by our teaching professionals who have decades of playing and coaching experience at all levels. Curious about which pro might be best for you? Check out each staff member’s detailed bio here.
We’re happy to welcome Kevin Morris back to our tennis staff. Kevin is a familiar face, as he has been with us before. Besides being part of our normal clinics and team practices and teaching private lessons, Kevin has a real passion for getting new people started with tennis. In fact, he will have several new “BEGINNER” level clinics starting around Labor Day that will include “BRING A FRIEND FOR FREE” if you want to come with a friend and learn together at a great price. Ask at the front desk or contact the tennis department for more information on these new programs.
Whether you are a seasoned tennis veteran or just starting out, we welcome you to our courts. We hope to see you soon!
