Mr. John’s boot camp is a no-nonsense results-oriented workout. It’s not for the faint of heart! This is a paid class that is skillfully designed using our newest equipment. You will also receive encouragement and feedback on form from Mr. John. First class is always FREE!
John Pimenidis holds a degree in Health and Physical Education from Mount St. Joseph University. He has worked with the youth of Anderson Township for over 25 years. Mr. John is a llifelong athlete who played basketball for the European Team as a youth. He played football for Mount St. Joseph University where he still holds several kicking reords. Currently, he enjoys competitive mountain biking. He often rides his bike to work, so watch out for him on Beechmont Avenue!

A full-body workout that is a combination of strength and cardio executed in cycles. We use various equipment such as weights, bands, balls, and more. You will get all you need in this class, and it can be modified for all fitness levels.

Participants in this class will use a variety of tools such as kettlebells, body bars, resistance bands, and stability balls for strength training. In addition to strength, cardio sprints are done on the floor to keep the heart rate up.
Our cycling classes are fun, fast-paced, and can be modified for all levels. We proudly use Keiser M3i bikes.

A class designed to keep you moving for daily activities and improve strength, range of movement, agility, balance, and coordination. This is a nationally recognized program designed for seniors to remain active and connect with others.
A class for seniors designed to improve cardiovascular fitness
This class focuses on cardio but also includes strength training. Routines are simple, fun, and effective! This class is appropriate for most Silver Sneaker participants.
The Gauntlet is a private space outfitted with updated exercise equipment that can be used in various ways for invigorating workouts. We offer a 30 and 60-minute Run the Gauntlet class. They are led by experienced, certified trainers in a small group setting. Throughout the class, the trainer will offer you coaching, feedback, and motivation- pushing you past what you could do on your own.
An hour-long, HIIT class led by Kellie Kallas. This class is designed to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability. Each session is a full-body workout incorporating the TRX, cardio, weights, and much more.
Run the Gauntlet 30 is a high-octane, 30-minute version of RTG 60. This 30-minute HIIT class might be all you need to get the results you’re looking for!

Guy was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. Guy is a 3x Cincinnati Met Champion, junior, adult, and seniors. Guy was also a nationally ranked collegiate player; playing at Flagler. He played top level doubles in California in his early adult life. He has now been a teaching professional for about 40 years, with about 15 of those years being at Beechmont Racquet & Fitness.
USPTA Elite Professional
Geoff is a Cincinnati native. He’s been involved in the tennis community in the surrounding area for over 50 years. He has been on the pro staff at Beechmont Racquet & Fitness for 30 years. Back in his day, Geoff was #1 in doubles in the Midwest. He is also the owner of “The Wooden Racquet”, which is the pro shop inside of the club, and is responsible for the racquet restringing. Over all the years, Geoff has gained a lot of tennis expertise and looks forward to sharing that with our members.
Tennis Professional
Patrick grew up learning and playing tennis at Beechmont Racquet & Fitness. In high school, Patrick played varsity at Turpin High School and competed in USTA tournaments. Following high school, he attended the University of Kentucky for his undergraduate where he played in and was President of the Club Tennis Program, traveling and competing in tournaments at other universities across the Midwest and Southern United States. Patrick has been coaching tennis for seven years and has been a pro at Ivy Hills Country Club as well as the Assistant Varsity Coach for the Turpin High School girls team. This is Patrick’s first year on the Pro Staff at Beechmont Racquet & Fitness and he is excited to return where he can instruct tennis, pickleball, be a racquet stringer, and share his love for the game.
Junior Tennis Director
Ghassan Al-Ansi is the Executive Director at Inner-City Tennis Project . Coach Ghassan is The Davis Cup captain of Yemen, PTR Level 2 , TPT(Tennis Performance Trainer), USTA Safe Play, First/Aid certified Coach. Ghassan is a former Xavier University of Louisiana Men’s & Women’s Assistant coach. Al-Ansi was trained Under several top ATP/WTA coaches and most notably “Younes El Aynaoui” who was ranked 14 in the ATP ranking in 2003. And Issam Jellali who is the coach of the former world number 2 and current world number 5 Ons Jabeur. Ghassan is Yemen’s Number one National Player. He Played for Two Universities throughout his collegiate Career ” Chowan University Dll and Xavier University of Louisiana NAIA D1. During his season with Chowan University, Al-Ansi went 15:4 at position 1 for CU Hawks and won the first Conference Carolina Championship Ghassan as a Gold Rush Player was the Runner-Up at NAIA D1 tennis national Championship in 2019. He Also participated in the NAIA National Championship for Cross Country with XULA in 2020. Al-Ansi is a Former Junior ITF 293 ranked Player.
Tennis Professional
Eric grew up in Northern Kentucky, which is where his tennis career began. As a junior, he played in 16s/18s nationals and also made it to state 3 years throughout his high school career. He attended Thomas More University, where he had an undefeated season in singles and also won the PAC Championship. Eric has been coaching for over a decade now, and he looks forward to sharing all of his knowledge and expertise with our tennis community.
PTR Certified
Brent has been a tennis instructor at the Beechmont Racquet & Fitness for twelve years. He has been a high school coach for sixteen seasons. While coaching high school tennis, Brent has the distinction of being selected Coach of the Year in two different conferences while leading those teams to conference championships. In 2015, the Amelia girls in the Buckeye Conference, finished the season with a perfect 18-0 record. And in 2021, the Anderson boys in the ECC, finishing the season with an undefeated conference record. He has assisted in coaching multiple Interclub Championships, especially lately.
Brent is married to his wife, Becky, herself a 3.5 interclub champion. They have been blessed with four daughters and four grandchildren.
USPTA Elite Professional
Jerry is a graduate of the University of California –Berkeley. He played his college tennis at North Carolina –Charlotte, where he was the Number One singles player, MVP, team captain and an All-Conference Selection. Jerry is certified as an Elite Tennis Professional by the USPTA. His students have won city, state and national titles. He is also the Boys Varsity Tennis Coach at Turpin High School. Jerry is actively involved in “grass roots” tennis programs that provide opportunities for underserved children.

Konnor is a lifelong Cincinnati native. He learned to play tennis at the Blue Ash Rec Center and Camargo Racquet Club. He attended Sycamore High School where he played tennis and Arizona State University where he played on their club team. Konnor has been working over a decade in the field beginning when he was 16 years old at the Blue Ash Rec Center. He has also worked at the Kenwood Country Club, Cincinnati Country Club, Queen City Racquet Club and Camargo Country Club. He has experience teaching private and group lessons of all ages from 3 and up. He looks forward to being a part of the Pro Staff at Beechmont Racquet & Fitness!
Tennis Director and Interclub Coordinator
Michael learned how to play tennis at Beechmont Racquet & Fitness as a junior. He grew up and developed through the program, and this is where his love and passion for the game began. While in high school, he played varsity at Milford High School and competitively in USTA tournaments. After high school, Michael attended the University of Cincinnati, where he played on their club team. Michael has been coaching and instructing tennis for over a decade. He was the Tennis Director at Miami Hills Swim & Tennis Club for eight years and also the Head Varsity Coach for both boys/girls at Milford High School. Michael is also a part of the Wilson Team Advisory Staff. Michael has been a member on the Pro Staff at Beechmont Racquet & Fitness for over five years. He loves sharing his love and passion for the game of tennis with our members.
BRF Lead Pickleball Professional
Nick, who joined BRF in 2023, is our lead pickleball professional. He is an experienced tennis player and coach. Twelve years ago, he tried Pickleball, and he has played competitively ever since. His achievements include attaining PCI (Pickelball Coaching International) certification (with honors) and membership in USA Pickleball (USAP). He has won tournaments, including the Mid-Ohio Doubles Championship in Middletown. Nick offers private or group lessons and coaches multiple clinics at BRF. Additionally, he teaches a 101 class every month and most recently organized and directed our first BRF Doubles Championship Tournament.
Director of Pickleball
Patti was the founder of Pickleball at BRF, and she currently runs our leagues and Partner Pickleball. She is a skilled racquet sports player and has been playing Interclub Tennis at Beechmont Racquet and Fitness for over 37 years! As director of Pickleball, she is passionate about getting more members involved in Pickleball, and she has helped grow the program into what it is today. In her spare time, she loves playing tennis, Pickleball, golf, and planning and cooking meals with her two children.You will also see Patti working the front desk, so be sure to say hello!
