Tennis: Where fun meets fitness

Since our founding over 40 years ago, Beechmont Racquet & Fitness has played a leading role in the Cincinnati tennis community. Tennis has been a prominent activity at the club since our opening. The quality, diversity, and affordability of our programs have set the standard by which other clubs are measured.

With options for everyone of any skill set including beginner, juniors, and more advanced players and opportunities for recreational, instructional, or competitive play, we are equipped to meet your tennis needs!

Our Cincinnati tennis junior program encompasses all levels from preschool players to elite tournament players. Cincinnati Tennis adult programs allow adults of all skill levels to compete against other clubs in the Greater Cincinnati Indoor Tennis Association (GCITA) league.

Our professional Cincinnati tennis staff includes current and former high school and college team coaches. All of them have years of experience coaching and managing tennis players. They work with beginners to nationally-ranked players and every level in between.

We have eight tennis courts available to our members. Cost for reserving courts is $24 per hour ($16 per hour in the summer) and courts may be reserved up to four days in advance. We are ready for your next tennis match with your friends or family. We look forward to seeing you on our courts soon!

  • Beginner: Level 1 or Level 1+
  • Intermediate: Level 3 or Junior Stars
  • Advanced: Varsity IV or Elite
  • Match Play

  • Take our clinic designed for adult beginners and learn all the basic fundamentals and court positioning

Cardio Tennis

Cardio Tennis

 

In cardio tennis, you won’t find yourself standing still often because we hit and move throughout the class. It’s an ideal and fun way to get a cardio workout and to reach your daily step goals! The recommended level is 2.5+ (advanced beginner).

Instructional Round Robin (IRR)

This class is designed to work on point-play strategy, positioning, and patterns. This class will touch on some stroke development but is more geared toward playing out points. The recommended level is 2.5 – 4.0.
